South Korean star Kim Seok-jin, better known as Jin of the supernova K-pop group BTS, embarked in the summer of 2025 on a three-continent solo tour. The eighteen-stop journey, called the “RunSeokjin Ep. Tour,” visited nine cities across the summer of 2025 plus an encore performance in Korea in the fall, with a Cohesion PA backing up every moment.

Full-venue coverage was the top priority on this eighteen-date tour, ensuring that every fan, whether they sat in the farthest reaches of the upper bowl or stood as close as possible to the stage, enjoyed rich, intelligible audio. Jung-Jae Ha, Show Director, HYBE Corporation, described the need for audience to have unimpeded sightlines for the production’s large video walls “without compromising sound quality and coverage.”
Clair Global deployed a Cohesion CO12 system with sixteen left-right on the mains and sixteen more on either side hang. Six CP218 II+ were flown and nine more were stacked (cardioid configuration) on the ground per side. Finally, eight CO10 were deployed as a front fill, which System Engineer Kenny Hottenstein described as “blending extremely well with the flown arrays.”
The Cohesion PA covered each venue thoroughly with pristine vocal clarity, much to the delight of “ARMY,” the cadre of BTS superfans that flooded each show in bespoke costumes and stocked with handmade gifts, turning each concert into one large party. Jin’s studio engineer, on tour as a form of quality control, verified that the mix translated extremely well to a live environment each night, a testament to the great audio crew behind the system.
“The CO12 had good curvature, a wide frequency range, and a powerful low end. The side hangs in particular were excellent and covered well on each side and top to bottom.”
