kiT12

The kiT12 has been designed and engineered to be a high output, full-range loudspeaker that’s ideal for speech and music reproduction in portable or permanent applications. The kiT12 is one of Clair Brothers most versatile full range loudspeakers. Exceptional intelligibility, high output performance and durability make the kiT12 an excellent choice for virtually any indoor or outdoor application. The kiT12 has the flexibility to be mounted horizontally or vertically, pole mounted, or pole mounted on a subwoofer base.

The kiT12 features a 12-inch neodymium low frequency driver and a 3-inch neodymium high frequency compression driver. A standard 90° x 40° rotatable horn or an optional 60° x 40° rotatable horn deliver smooth, uniform coverage in both near-field and medium throw applications. The standard model includes a rear input connector and control panel that features one male EP-4 and one female EP-4 connector as well as a 4-position terminal strip. The system can be operated in either two-way active or passive modes selectable by an external pair of jumpers. The frequency response is 63 Hz - 20 kHz (+/-3dB).

An integral fixed angle 0° pole mount and aluminum kiT Rigging Corners provide the flexibility to configure the kiT12 in the most demanding applications. The enclosure is constructed of premium Baltic birch plywood and has two integrated handles providing secure grips to safely handle the loudspeaker. A heavy-duty perforated, powder coated steel grille, backed with foam, and weather-resistant components ensure reliability in harsh environmental conditions. A textured polyurea paint provides a durable, attractive finish.
