The 10SPOT has been designed and engineered to be a hybrid speaker combining Clair’s Curved Array Technology and advanced One Series coaxial horn technology resulting in a unique form factor loudspeaker with impressive sound reproduction characteristics. Its compact size and distinctive ability to coherently cover large listening areas makes it an ideal system where space is at a premium. Its specialized characteristics make it particularly applicable for distributed systems, under balcony, delay fills and live entertainment speech and music reinforcement.

Its distinctive directivity is the result of its coaxial horn arrangement providing constant curvature vertical and progressively increasing horizontal directivity. The resultant directivity pattern is 90° at the top and 135° at the bottom across a 45° vertical angle. A 10-inch neodymium cone driver and 1.7-inch compression driver both load into the unique combination of two overlaid horns resolving the problem of horn shadowing common to coaxial systems. This enables the mid/high frequencies of the 10-inch driver and the high frequency horn to seamlessly converge as they extend towards the mouth of the horn.

Its unique form factor and impressive directivity characteristics make the 10SPOT well suited for installations near ceiling to wall intersections such as in hotel/club bar areas. The low/mid frequencies are ported thru discreet horns located on both sides of the forward-facing enclosure. The frequency response is 90 Hz – 20 kHz (+/-3 dB).

The 10Spot includes an integrated passive two-way crossover that facilitates single amp channel operation using approved Clair Global DSP amplified controllers.

The enclosure is constructed of premium Baltic birch plywood and has (8) M10 x 1.5 integrated mounting points for optional mounting brackets or custom rigging. A heavy-duty perforated powder coated steel grille, backed with foam and weather-resistant components ensure reliability in harsh environments. A textured polyurea paint provides a durable, attractive finish.
